Another great post, Omar! I'm getting going myself and one thing I am not sure about is how OpenClaw fits into your set of tools. Are you using OpenClaw exclusively for Lobster and the agent messaging/chat front end?

This is a really amazing and dense post. In all your spare time you should create detailed walkthroughs on how to set this up. Yes, I know it’s constantly changing so that’s a ton of work. That said, it would be great value to us Product folks that have never really been coders.

Second thought, maybe I just hand your post to Claude and have it walk me through set up step by step.

Yup do that, ask claude to make you a proper plan and then set it up step by step! Happy building!

Great tips on Obsidian. I am a recent adopter as well.

Thank you for sharing , wish I knew about chezmoi as had to switch to new machine and I had to move so many of dotfiles and configs. I have more or less than similar setups. Loved the visual cues for Claude code sessions. One thing I would recommend is bringing in another coding agent especially Codex as a reviewer and critic as I have found many bugs and issues which Claude code didn’t find.

Chezmoi is exactly what I needed! Also, have you thought of adding a knowledge compiler system for your repos? I believe Andrej Karpathy described this system. My version is a wiki on top of my obsidian vault that compiles raw notes into something structures, navigable and super useful!

Omar - I happen to be on a sabbatical at the worst time! I feel like I’m going to be so behind when I come back. If you were to update this article , what would you recommend a sabbatical project begin for a guy who hasn’t yet dabbled in Claud Code or OpenClaw - but is very conversant with Scout…

You've inspired me to start playing with plugins and get out of the comfort zone :)
